The 6th Experimental Pragmatics in Italy Conference, XPRAG.it 2026, took place on September 24–25, 2026, in Genoa, Italy. Under the motto «Conference on the Harbour – Anchored in Discovery,» the meeting was held at the NH Collection Genova Marina, on a historic pier of Genoa’s Old Port. For centuries the port has been a place where goods, ideas and cultures were exchanged.
XPRAG.it is a meeting point for researchers who study pragmatics and language use with experimental methods.
The invited speakers were Elsi Kaiser (University of Southern California), Julia Uddén (Stockholm University), Michael Franke (University of Tübingen) and Francesca Foppolo (University of Milano-Bicocca). The conference was organized by Filippo Domaneschi (University of Genoa), Valentina Bambini and Luca Bischetti (University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia).

Los días 24 y 25 de septiembre de 2026 se realizó en Génova, Italia, la 6.ª Conferencia de Pragmática Experimental en Italia, XPRAG.it 2026. Bajo el lema «Conference on the Harbour – Anchored in Discovery», el encuentro tuvo lugar en el NH Collection Genova Marina, sobre un muelle histórico del Puerto Viejo de Génova. Durante siglos, ese puerto ha sido un espacio de intercambio de bienes, ideas y culturas.
XPRAG.it es un punto de encuentro para quienes investigan la pragmática y el uso del lenguaje con métodos experimentales.
Los conferencistas invitados fueron Elsi Kaiser (Universidad del Sur de California), Julia Uddén (Universidad de Estocolmo), Michael Franke (Universidad de Tubinga) y Francesca Foppolo (Universidad de Milán-Bicocca). La organización estuvo a cargo de Filippo Domaneschi (Universidad de Génova) y de Valentina Bambini y Luca Bischetti (Escuela Universitaria Superior IUSS de Pavía).
